A Book Review of Water Voices From Around the World by William E Marks

Water Voices from Around The World offers the reader many letters written from people all over the world. Each letter discusses what water means to them, and their countries. You will find letters from people such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Ted Danson, Mikhail Gorbachev, Peter A. Wilderer, and so many others.

The pictures in the book are absolutely amazing. The reader will find beautiful pictures of animals, flowers, buildings, and more. The photos are so life like, you will think you are right there looking at the object in person.

Schools and colleges would benefit from having Water Voices from Around The World in their collections for the students to read. This book could teach them to appreciate water. If they were to learn how many people do not have a supply of safe drinking water available to them, they may rethink all the water they have wasted.

So many of us never truly appreciate how precious water is to us. We turn on the faucet and have clean water ready for us to use. Imagine all of the places that have no clean water. They have to have water shipped in from other countries, or spend hours boiling the water they do have to make it drinkable.

The letters found in Water Voices from Around The World will make you stop and think just how different your life would be if you did not have water readily available to you. This book will make you see that something as simple as water can be life changing.

Water Voices from Around The World would make a wonderful coffee table book. It would also be a great addition to your home library. Children would highly benefit from learning about the water problems different countries have.

I have learned so much from reading this book. I have learned about countries that have many rivers and lakes, but still have an inadequate drinking water supply. I have learned about research being done to save our water supply.

This book would be a great addition for any collection. They will learn so much while enjoying the amazing pictures. There is no doubt in my mind why this book won the book “Most Likely to Save The Planet” first place award by the largest international book competition. It deserves every award it gets.
